John Maland High School offers instruction to students in grades 10 to 12. In addition to a strong core curriculum for academic and general studies, the school also offers a diverse quality program in Career and Technology Studies (CTS), Fine Arts, and Physical Education and Wellness.
Students can participate in a competitive extra-curricular athletic program, which includes cross-country running, golf, volleyball, basketball, badminton, curling, track & field, and rugby. All students have access to the Wildcat Fitness Centre where they can maintain or improve their physical wellness.
Other opportunities available to students include Inter-school Christian Fellowship, Yearbook, Jazz Band, Stage Band, a very active Students’ Union, and a Me to We club. Students also have opportunities to be involved in staging two full-scale musical productions each year. Students have many opportunities to apply the skills they learned in classroom through our Work Experience Program, Registered Apprenticeship Program, and Sports Medicine Internships .
