Overview

This course introduces students to the areas of digital photography. Students will learn to take compelling photos and develop their knowledge of composition and the technical aspects of photography. Student’s photographs are frequently used in the schools’s yearbook and website.

This program will also expand in the the future to allow students create their own short films and soundtracks. Students will view and analyze examples of print, film, and television to improve their communication methods through images and sound.  In their photography, video, and audio projects students will explore proper composition and design methods.

Students will also be printing two, three, and four colour images which can be transferred on a variety of clothing. Photoshop will used to assist students in creating and manipulating their images.
